🏈 The huddle for cold beer with a championship atmosphere

129 E Arrow Hwy, Glendora, CA
Cheers Sports Bar is a neighborhood anchor where the beer is reliably icy and the welcome is genuine. With the Big Game approaching, it serves as an easygoing headquarters for those who value a local scene.
While the pool tables are famously free, the hospitality often extends to the kitchen; the staff is known to surprise the room with fresh, steaming tamales during watch parties.
Between the well-poured drinks and the occasional shared plate, it feels more like a friend’s living room than a typical dive. The thoughtful addition of purse hooks under the bar ensures everything stays secure while you focus on the score.
⚔️ Beyond the Basics: Forging Men of Purpose

The Leadership Course is about raising sons who lead with the heart of a servant and the resolve of a man who knows exactly who he is in Christ.
• Four Stages of Formation: from freshman curiosity to senior-year conviction.
• Christ-Centered Grit: blending spiritual depth and resilience found on an expedition.
• Equipping Servant Leaders: training the next generation to lead with humility.

⛳️ Finding the fairway after the sun sets

402 W Arrow Hwy Suite #3, San Dimas, CA
The quiet stretch of San Dimas gets more interesting once you step inside SimuLinks Golf. It feels like a private clubhouse where the focus is entirely on your swing.
Gathering the crew for a few rounds on the simulator is a great way to huddle up before Sunday! Don keeps the atmosphere welcoming and intentional, making it easy to dial in those yardages without the pressure of a crowded outdoor range.

Post-Game Strategy: The Foothills Real Estate Truth
While you were ordering the wings, we’ve been keeping a sharp eye on the ground in our own backyard. Forget the national noise: the real story is in our local streets and canyon views.
The market may have felt as flat as a halftime show in the back half of the year, but it hasn’t stalled. Like the peaks above us, it remains grounded and resilient.
Steady Play: Buyer activity actually gained yardage through December.
Solid Ground: Inventory remains tighter than a goal-line stand, keeping our Foothills values firm.
The Scouting Report: Buyers are selective now. Homes priced with precision and pride are moving; the rest are sitting through the winter chill.
In this market, don’t for the thaw, you win by positioning correctly from kickoff.

🏺 A Fresh Take on Local Ceramics

The Gist: The 81st Scripps College Ceramic Annual opens this Saturday at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery. This year’s exhibition, titled Means to an End, features nontraditional works that mix clay with video, painting, and collage. You can explore the collection for free while enjoying live music at the opening reception.
Why It Matters: This long standing local tradition offers a unique way to experience world class art and creativity right here in our neighborhood.
What’s Next:
Opening Reception: Saturday, February 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at 251 E. 11th St.
Curator Talk: Tuesday, February 10, at 2 p.m. at the Clark Humanities Museum.
Gallery Hours: Noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, until April 5.
🛒 New Groceries and Jobs at Mountain Village Plaza

Disclaimer: not actual photo of location
The Gist: Northgate Gonzalez Market is opening this spring in Chino at the former Clark’s Nutrition site. The family owned grocery chain specializes in fresh tortillas, authentic panadería treats, and prepared Mexican foods. To get the store ready for the neighborhood, the market is partnering with the city to fill various roles in the meat, bakery, and cashier departments.
Why It Matters: This opening brings fresh food options and new local employment opportunities to the heart of our community.
What’s Next: Two hiring fairs will be held in the store parking lot at 12835 Mountain Avenue on Feb. 11 and Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
