🏫 La Verne’s school zones now 20 mph
The Gist: La Verne’s new 20 mph school-zone speed limit is now in effect as Bonita Unified schools are back in session. The city replaced 22 signs ahead of the change, with police enforcement underway once signs were installed.
Why It Matters: If you’re back to the morning school run, this is an easy one to miss. Slow down to 20 mph when kids are present around school zones, then return to the regular posted speed when they’re not.
