Photo from ticketmaster.comThe Gist: Inland Pacific Ballet's beloved "The Nutcracker" returns this December with performances at Claremont's Bridges Auditorium (Dec. 13-14) and Riverside's Fox Performing Arts Center (Dec. 20-21). The production features 62 young local dancers alongside professional guest artists, including TikTok star Lori Hernández and NYC Ballet principal Peter Walker.

🚗 Nov. 16 Declared LA County Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims
The Gist: The LA County Board of Supervisors has officially proclaimed Nov. 16 as “Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims.” The day honors lives lost in crashes and raises awareness about safe driving, especially as the holidays near. In 2024 alone, 125 fatal crashes occurred in unincorporated parts of the county.
