đ˝ď¸ California Menus to List Food Allergens Starting in 2026

The Gist: Beginning next year, California will become the first state to require restaurants with 20 or more locations to list major food allergens (like milk, eggs, shellfish, and tree nuts) directly on their menus. The new law, signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, aims to help the millions of Californians living with food allergies dine out more safely and confidently.
Why It Matters:
Families managing allergies will soon have clearer information when eating out, making restaurant visits safer and more inclusive across the state. Read more here.

The Gist: The Wolfpack fell 31â7 to Bonita, but Claremont Highâs homecoming glowed with pride. Parade floats rolled by, the band played strong, and seniors Aairon Kennebrew and Elijah Balcazar were crowned homecoming royalty under the lights.
After the game, players, families, and classmates shared hugs and laughter: proof that community spirit runs deep.
Why It Matters: Win or lose, CHS knows how to celebrate its own. Read more here.
