Hard to believe it’s already mid-December!

Feels like school just started, and now kids are doing math memes about “67” days in. (Shoutout Chaparral Elementary for turning internet chaos into creativity.)
This week’s packed with events, music, and some real gems for gift-giving that don’t come in boxes. Dive in.
In today’s Scoop:
✨ Homes That Sleigh Big
📚 The Buzz for 6-7
☕ Mornings with a Little Magic
🕯️ From Nativity to Nightcaps

🎅 Cocoa, Croissants & Christmas Cheer

Rail Side Café has a way of pulling you into its rhythm: the hiss of a Lavazza espresso mingles with the distant rumble of a train and suddenly the morning feels storied.
Drift in for Boar’s Head paninis, warm croissants, and that bracing latte they trust every time. Out on the patio (shaded and lively), you’ll catch neighbors swapping weekend plans while kids size up the chess boards.
The place already feels celebratory... and then Santa drops in. On December 21st, the patio is sure to be filled with music, giggles, and $1 hot cocoa as families line up for free photos.
A sweet neighborhood moment wrapped in rail-side charm.
🪵 Bonfires. Brotherhood. Becoming.

It’s more than a camp. The Leadership Course is a slow, steady walk toward manhood: with boots on the trail and Scripture in hand.
• Start with Kingdom teamwork, end with a life mission
• Designed for young guys + rooted in local faith communities
• Parents love the maturity. Churches see the fruit.

🎄 More than just a card stop

Trudy’s Hallmark Shop in San Dimas really shines this time of year. Holiday cards line the walls, ornaments sparkle, and the seasonal displays make it easy to linger.
Between plush gifts, figurines, chocolates, and rotating specials like in-store promos or free gift events, it never feels rushed.
The staff lets you browse, chat, and take your time, which usually turns a quick stop into a slow, happy wander through the holidays.

🏠 In real estate, you grow or get drained.

Capital & Influence is looking for 1–2 agents who are done flying solo or battling broker chaos.

🏠 Glendora's Holiday Decoration Winners

The Gist: Glendora neighbors really outdid themselves this year. The 2025 Holiday Home Decorating Contest winners are in, with 708 W Laxford St taking top honors for Animation, 503 E Carroll Ave lighting things up for Use of Lights, and 1148 E Dover St winning Lawn Display.
Why It Matters: This is the kind of simple, joyful tradition that makes the holidays always feel special, while piling into the festive neighborhoods, cruising the streets, and feeling that Glendora pride within.
✨ Claremont Elementary School joins "6-7" hype

The Gist: Chaparral Elementary School turned the viral "6-7" trend into a school-wide celebration on their 67th day of classes. Students and teachers wore "6-7" shirts, answered math problems that equaled 67, and played games with 67-second time limits.
Why It Matters: Instead of fighting the internet meme disrupting classrooms, local educators found a creative way to channel kids' enthusiasm into learning activities.
🌲 Give the Gift of Showing Up

Leader of Men is 12 months of real brotherhood and restoration: starting right here in our backyard.
Because not everyone wants a new gadget. Some want presence. Accountability. A path forward.
• Meetups from Glendora to Rancho
• 4 still, sacred days in the mountains
• Daily rhythms to become the man God created
