🎸 Chicano punk art exhibit opens at Pitzer
The Gist: Pitzer College’s Kallick Family Gallery is hosting the "Rudy Brat Archive," a collection of over 40 original photos, concert flyers, and historic punk ephemera saved by Rudy Medina, founding member of East LA band The Brat. The free showcase brings together decades of handmade local music history preserved by Medina after the group disbanded in 1986.
Why It Matters: This is an up-close look at the groundbreaking Chicano punk scene that helped define Southern California music culture. It turns discarded street flyers and personal memories into celebrated art right in our backyard. The exhibit runs through October 17 at the Kallick Family Gallery.
🛠️️ San Dimas Ace Hardware stays open to serve
The Gist: San Dimas Ace Hardware at W. Bonita Ave. remains open and ready to serve local shoppers despite recent rumors of its closure. Owner James is working to restock the store's shelves and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help keep inventory full. You can drop by to support the shop during its regular business hours.
Why It Matters: Downtown hardware stores bring a personal touch and expert help that big-box retailers just can't match. Supporting our local shop today helps keep a cherished small business thriving.

You don't need another sales pitch, you need clarity. That's why I created the Real Estate Strategy Center: ninety minutes to build a custom plan around your goals, finances, and timeline.
