🛠️ San Dimas Hardware Store Closing After 52 Years

After more than five decades serving the community, San Dimas Ace Hardware is preparing to close its doors. The longtime local store has been around since 1974, but declining sales, rising costs and mounting debt have made it difficult to keep the business going.

Owner James Reimer has been unable to find a buyer, and while an official closing date hasn't been announced, remaining merchandise has been marked down by 75%. It's a sad goodbye to a familiar neighborhood business that generations of residents have relied on.

🚗 Glendora Police Receive Grant for Safer Roads

Glendora police have received a state grant to help make local roads safer. The funding will support additional DUI checkpoints, distracted driving enforcement and efforts to protect pedestrians and bicyclists.

The grant comes from the California Office of Traffic Safety and will help fund traffic safety programs through September 2027. Drivers can expect increased enforcement throughout the year, with a focus on preventing crashes and keeping everyone safer on the road.
